Super Green Super Easy by Sally Obermeder & Maha Corbett
Sally Obermeder and Maha Corbett are two of my favourite foodies!
We've worked together on quite a few projects since the launch of their last book, Super Green Simple and Lean, from Vanilla Magazine to Let's Cook That Book for kitchenware retailers House and Robins Kitchen. And I just can't get enough of either of them!
These sisters are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to living your best life. Their website Swiish is a wealth of information and inspiration. At Swiish you'll find their exclusive fashion line, their health and wellness products including health powders, essential oils and clean beauty products, their books, homewares and a library of recipes to keep you and your body happy and healthy.
They also have a new book out.
Super Green Super Easy follows along the path of their last two books and is full of fabulous recipes that are quick, easy, healthy, and will nourish your body and soul. The best thing though is that they look fabulous so you will want to eat them.
Inside you'll find salads, one-pot meals, bowls, one-tray wonders, snacks and smoothies - because it wouldn't be a Sally and Maha cookbook if it didn't include smoothies!
If you've followed the sisters' journey, you would know that smoothies are a heavy-weight contender in their daily food journey and in the last interview I had with them every day began with a smoothie.
And their smoothies are delicious! I can't stand smoothies personally, and I did try many over the years, especially green ones, and didn't find a single recipe my tastebuds would tolerate. Until I met Sally and Maha and they recommended a green smoothie to blow all other green smoothies out of the water. And I kind of liked it - it sure as hell didn't make me want to through it against a wall anyway.
When that craving for a healthy life and diet calls on me, I tend to start with that smoothie recipe.
But back to the new book! The clean, bright, modern look continues through this book (and their website) making it easy to read and follow. They have a natural knack for recipe writing, and their recipes always work and always look amazing.
There's a prep section too so you can set yourself up for the week so cooking and eating healthy is a breeze.
